It is important to note that the ISO certification deadline for the new version ISO 9001:2015 is September 15, 2018. ISO 9001:2015 was published on September 15, 2015 and the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the ISO Committee on Conformity Assessment (CASCO) agreed to a three-year transition period from the publication date.
Organizations should remember that when applying or renewing any ANATEL certificates that were issued using ISO 9001:2008, they will need to present the new ISO 9001:2015 certificate in order to comply with ISO 9001.
