SIGET (Superintendencia General de Electricidad y Comunicaciones) the authority for approving telecommunications equipment in El Salvador, has introduced regulation changes for the 900MHz frequency range. The maximum output power level for RFID devices operating in the 902-928MHz range has been reduced to 100mW EIRP only. The regulation changes are currently in effect.
