MIC Vietnam has officially released the draft version of a new Circular that will replace 05/2019/TT-BTTTT. The new version refers to regulations on the list of radio and ITE products subject to MIC Type Approval certification and Declaration of Conformity. The new regulations will take effect on July 1, 2020.
Highlighted features:
- Adding terminal device, base station, and repeater used in 5th generation of cellular network (5G) to the list.
- Moving wireless inductive loop charger, telemetry instrument, MISC and MITS device, wireless sound devices, UWB and few other SRD to be under mandatory Declaration of Conformity scheme only.
- Removing radar used for maritime mobile services.
- Providing a detailed identification of RFID equipment: RF Tags with or without a power source and RF Reader for activating radio card and receiving card information.
