In response to COVID-19, more Type Approval delays are to be expected in Asia. Please be assured that all of us at iCertifi are continuing to process applications and most global regulatory authorities have announced they will operate on a remote platform.
We are still applying to all the countries in the list below for business as usual, but delays should be expected:
- Brunei – Expect delays as staff is working remotely
- Cambodia – Operations have resumed but expect delays
- India – Testing and certification submission have resumed but expect delays
- Indonesia – Authorities are working remotely until May 29th, 2020, expect delays
- Malaysia – Authorities are working remotely until June 9, 2020, expect delays
- Philippines – Operations are suspended until May 29, 2020
- Singapore – Expect delays as staff is working remotely
- Sri Lanka – The authority is open but with a limited staff, expect delays
- Thailand – Expect delays as staff is working remotely
- Vietnam – The agency is open but expect delays
