On February 22, 2019 India published updates to the TEC logo labeling requirements under MTCTE.
The new TEC logo is as follows:
According to labeling guidelines, the height of TEC logo shall be 1/4th of the size of the brand name, subject to a minimum height of 6 mm and maximum height of 12 mm. The logo can be engraved, raised, embossed or printed label affixed. E-labeling is permitted with certain restrictions. Instructions on how to access e-label shall be included in the user’s manual, operating instructions, or as an insert in the package of the product, or other similar means.
