The CNCA of China has published an announcement confirming the addition of a new EMC standard for 5G mobile terminals. Effective immediately, Certification Bodies will be required to implement CCC certification for these devices according to the newly added requirements. The announcement can be viewed here.
CCC certificates for 5G mobile terminals that were obtained according to the requirements of 4G and previous standards, must be updated. Applicants should submit an additional test application based on YD/T2583.18 to the designated certification body and renew the CCC certification certificate after passing the test.
Existing certificates must be updated before June 30, 2021. After this date, certificates not been updated shall be terminated.
