On March 2, 2021, Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI) issued a new safety standard TIS 1195-2561. The new standard outlines safety requirements for audio, video and similar electronic devices. Tentative products include TVs, speakers, game consoles and power adapters.
This new standard will take effect on August 29, 2021 and will replace the existing safety standard TIS 1195-2536.
