The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has included new products under their mandatory registration scheme.
The published list includes the product classification and the Indian standard number applied in each case.
From the moment of the publication (August 16, 2017) the manufacturer will have 6 months to comply with the new mandatory registration.
Some of the newly listed products include LED lights, TVs, USB readers and smart watches. See the document attached for the full list
