iCertifi has been alerted that due to many factors impacting the laboratories in Brazil in the past months, ANATEL testing times have been increased. Please note, lead times will be effected for issuing Type Approvals.
Current circumstances for the delays include:
- Only 4 labs exist that are able to conduct WWAN testing; 3 exist for 5G NR
- Labs testing capacities are full with current projects
- COVID-19 is still impacting staffing
Please be advised that testing times are expected to be delayed for the remainder of 2022, mainly for devices with WWAN and WLAN function.
