Israel – MOC Issues Amendment to Simplify Market Access for Radio Equipment and Enable Wi-Fi 6E

On July 7, 2022, the Ministry of Communications (MoC) in Israel published the Wireless Telegraph Regulations (Certificates of Compliance) Amendment 5722-2022. The amendment allows for the import of radio equipment on the basis of a declaration of conformity or certification of compliance with European regulations.

Effective immediately, EU documentation i.e., EU Declaration of Conformity and EU Test Reports are now accepted for Israel Type Approval.

In addition, the MOC has decided to allocate additional frequency ranges for technology products imported to Israel for personal and commercial purposes, including devices using Wi-Fi 6E technology and products that operate with Lora technology.
