As a follow up to our previous post, we have received an update for NCC Type Approval in regards to the consideration of Family Approvals.
According to information received from the Industry Working Group on the Type Approval session held in Abuja in August 2022, Family/Serial application is now only permitted for:
- Microwave Radio Equipment Category
- Enterprise Equipment Category
- Radio Module in an End Product (Non-Telecom equipment only)
