On September 23, 2022, the General Office of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China issued “Opinions on Deepening the Reform of the Electronic and Electrical Industry Management System”. The “Opinions” point out the need to reform and optimize the management system and contain suggestions regarding CCC, MIIT, and SRRC certifications.

Adjustment List of Compulsory Product Certification Catalogue (CCC)
The following categories have been removed:
- Single-speaker and multi-speaker active speakers with total output power below 500W (rms)
- Amplifier
- Audio and video recording, playback and processing equipment in various carrier forms

- Cordless Telephone Terminal
- Data terminal
- Multimedia terminal
- Intrusion detector
- Burglar alarm controller
Newly added categories:
- Lithium-ion batteries and battery packs, mobile power sources used in electronic and electrical products
- Power adapter/charger for telecom terminal products
Adjustment List of Telecom Equipment Catalogues Implementing Network Access Licensing System (MIIT Category)
The following categories have been removed:
- Fixed telephone terminal
- Cordless telephone terminal
- PBX
- Fax machine
- Modem (including card)
- Wireless pager
- Narrowband integrated service digital network terminal (ISDN terminal)
- Multimedia terminal accessing mobile communication network
- Frame Relay Switch
- Asynchronous Transfer Mode Switch (ATM Switch)
