On December 14, 2022, The Australian Communication and Media Authority (ACMA), published the Telecommunications Legislation Amendment and Repeal (2022 Measures No. 1) Instrument 2022. The amendment is the outcome of submissions in response to The Public Consultation on the implementation of QR Codes for Labeling.
Per the amendment the following is added to the Telecommunications (Labelling Notice for Customer Equipment and Customer Cabling) Instrument 2015 (the Telecommunications Labelling Notice):
