In continuation to the Mandatory testing & certification of telecommunication equipment under different phases of MTCTE regime, the Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC) has released a new list of products which will fall under Phase V.
Products include:
- Base Station for Cellular Network for 5G
- 5G Core
- Hypervisor
- E-band Fixed Radio Relay Systems
- Converged Multi Service Application Access Equipment (C-MSAAE)
- IP Terminal
- Hybrid Set Top Box
MTCTE will accept applications for these products starting July 1, 2023, and the deadline for mandatory certification is July 1, 2024. Test reports issued by ILAC accredited labs from non-border countries for technical parameters of these products will only be accepted until June 30, 2024.
