The Directorate General of Resources and Equipment of Post and Information Technology has launched a public consultation on a draft Decree concerning Technical Standards for Telecommunications Equipment and/or Short Range Telecommunications Devices. Comments are welcome from stakeholders and members of the public and must be received no later than August 4, 2023.
Telecommunication Tools and/or Short Range Telecommunications Devices in this Ministerial Decree include:
- Bluetooth;
- Near Field Communication (NFC);
- Radio Frequency Identification (RFID);
- Low Rate Wireless Personal Area Network (LR-WPAN) IEEE 802.15.4;
- Cordless Telephones;
- Wireless Power Transmission;
- Intelligent Transport System;
- Ultra Wide Band (UWB);
- Devices with Emitting Power Below 10 mW; And
- Other SRDs.
