India’s TEC Extends Deadline for Acceptance of ILAC Test Reports for Select Products

The India Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC) has issued an important notification on January 1, 2025, regarding the acceptance of ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation) test reports. According to the announcement, test reports from non-border-sharing countries will be accepted for specific technical parameters of certain products until June 30, 2025.

To qualify, the test reports must be no older than two years from the date of submission.

Products Covered by the Notification

The temporary acceptance applies to the following product categories:

  • Base Station for Cellular Network (up to 4G) – Phase III
  • SIM Cards – Phase IV
  • VHF UHF Radio Equipment Systems – Phase IV
  • Base Station for Cellular Network (5G) – Phase V
  • E-band Fixed Radio Relay Systems – Phase V
