Due to COVID-19, ENACOM has issued Resolution 771/2020 that extends type approval certificates with expiration dates between March 16 – September 17, 2020 by 60 days past the original expiration date.
ENACOM facilities and laboratories will remain working remotely with almost normal lead times Fortunately, most local laboratories have been able to return to operations including receiving samples, local testing and test reports issuance. Delays in certification can still be expected however, certificate issuance activities have resumed.
