AZS Adopts New EMC Standard

On March 7, 2024, the Azerbaijan Standardization Institute (AZS) adopted AZS ETSI/EN 301 489-17 V3.2.3:2024 “Electromagnetic Harmonization (EMC) standard for radio equipment and services”. This new standard defines the technical characteristics and measurement methods of broadband data transmission system equipment.

AZS ETSI/EN 301 489-17 V3.2.3:2024 falls under the authority of the Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control State Service within the Ministry of Economy. It pertains to Part 17, which outlines specific requirements for broadband data transmission systems. This version of the standard, titled “Adjusted Standard for Electromagnetic Compatibility,” has been officially adopted.
