Belarus – Decree No. 270 on Conformity Assessment

On May 6, 2022, the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus published Decree No. 270, “on the features of conformity assessment”  for products with mandatory technical requirements to be put into circulation in Belarus.

Highlights of the Decree are as follows:

• The validity of the certificates of conformity expiring from May 6, 2022 – September 1, 2022, is extended up to 12 months.
• Spare parts imported for maintenance and/or repair of finished goods previously put into circulation on the territory products in Belarus, and single units for non-commercial use may be imported without the submission of documents proving compliance.

This Decree entered into force after its official publication and is valid until December 31, 2023.
