5G regulations were discussed at the 2019 ANATEL Conference in Brazil on November 27, 2019. ANATEL has confirmed that they are working on the technical requirements for 5G and the regulations will be based on international standards. The proposed bands to be used are: 700MHz, 2.3GHz, 3.5GHz and 26GHz. A public consultation should be available in 2020, and we will update news as we receive it.
