ANATEL has published an official letter No.157/2020 that outlines renewal exceptions related to COVID-19. In this letter, ANATEL states that only certificates with due dates between March 6th – June 30th 2020 can use this exception.
The exception states that due to the impact of the coronavirus epidemic (COVID-19) the following applies:
- No renewal testing will be required for devices that do not have any changes to its project/components compared to the previous renewal/certification
- Internal and External photos will not be required
