On July 6, 2023, The Agencia Nacional de Telecomunicacoes (ANATEL) published Act No. 7971, of June 22, 2023 on the “Technical Requirements for IPv6 Protocol Compliance Assessment in Telecommunication Products“. The Act defines the technical requirements for equipment with terminal function with interface intended for mobile services and for fixed services.
This Act is now in force and will be mandatory from January 8, 2024.
