As mentioned in our January Blog Post, the SEC in Chile has approved Protocol PE Number 8/9:2019 that states all power supplies for both desktop and portable computers must have SEC certification. The implementation date has now been extended until September 1, 2021.
iCertifi recommends that manufacturers and/or importers still begin the process of certifying computer power supplies before the effective date to avoid setbacks when entering the market.
