On August 10, 2023 CNCA released a new regulation regarding the CCC certificate and CCC mark. On January 1st, 2024, this new regulation will go into effect.
These are the following changes –
- The certifying body will issue a supplemental paper certification certificate if the customer requests one. CCC certification fully incorporates electronic certification certificates. The issued paper authentication certificate is still valid and may be utilized. As it changes, expires, and is renewed, it will naturally migrate to an electronic authentication certificate. The same legal consequences apply to both paper and digital authentication certificates.
- Permit electronic annotation of the CCC logo. The product manual and other accompanying documents should outline the access path for the electronic annotation CCC logo. The electronic annotation CCC logo is applied to the integrated screen of the product through electronic display (after the screen is disassembled, the product cannot be used normally). The CCC logo should also be printed or moulded on the product’s minimal sales package, according to established specifications.
