On April 30, 2021, the Superintendencia de Telecomunicaciones (SUTEL) in Costa Rica published its Plan Nacional de Atribución de Frecuencias (PNAF), the official document can be viewed here.
Main changes include:
- Expand the 900 MHz frequency band for unlicensed use;
- Open the 5875-5925 MHz and 5925-7125 MHz frequency bands for unlicensed use, with a maximum EIRP of 30 dBm;
- Open the 76-81 GHz frequency band, for unauthorized use of vehicle radar products.
