On November 9, 2023, the Eurasian Economic Commission Council’s ruling regarding the labelling of phone sets and portable computers up to 10 kilograms with identifying devices will take effect.
Laptops and smartphones are among the products that must have the designation “Chestny znak.” The exact date of introduction and the process for labelling such items will be decided by the EAEU member states, who will also notify the EEC of their decision no later than six months prior to the commodities’ introduction.
