On November 23, 2022, the European Commission published Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2022/2307, in regards to the requirements for 5 GHz band frequency use. This Decision states by June 30, 2023, Member States shall designate and make available the 5150-5250 MHz, 5250-5350 MHz and 5470-5725 MHz frequency bands, on a non-exclusive basis, for the implementation of WAS/RLANs in accordance with the technical conditions set out in the Annex.
