The Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA) has published HKCA 1081 for WiFi 6 products. This specification sets out the technical and evaluation requirements for radiocommunications apparatus operating in the 6 GHz band for wireless local area network.
Products must operate in the 5.925 – 6.425 GHz frequency range, meet the technical requirements specified in the ESTI Harmonised Standard EN 303 687 and safety requirements according to IEC / EN 62368-1.
According to the specification, the maximum output power of the apparatus shall not exceed the limits indicated below:

- Indoor Use – Max Output Power (EIRP) 24 dBm
- Outdoor Use – Max Output Power (EIRP) 14 dBm
