The Ministry of Communications Department of Telecommunications in India published a revision to TEC/10/2018-NC (Pt. III) on the procedure for Mandatory Testing and Certification of Telecom Equipment (MTCTE).
The revised memorandum provides relaxed labeling requirements detailed below:
“Requirement of labeling on certified products shall be exempted for the initial period of six months w.e.f. date from which testing and certification prior to sale, import or use of respective telecom equipment in India is made mandatory, as a relaxation to MTCTE procedures.”
