As a follow up to our June post, on September 27, 2023, The Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC) issued a partial modification to Notification No. 5-2/2021-TC/164 on the testing and certification under MTCTE Phase III and IV products.
- Extension for mandatory certification for 32 products (ERs) listed in Annexure-I, is extended from October 1, 2023 to January 1, 2024.
Further, all other terms and conditions including the mandatory date for the other 12 products and details mentioned in Notification No. 5-2/2021-TC/164 remain unchanged.
