On March 22, 2022, The Department of Telecommunications Ministry of Communications Government of India published a notification on five products excluded from the MTCTE list of mandatory products.
Temporary exclusions include:
- Mobile User Equipment/Mobile Handset (Mobile Phone)
- Server
- Smart Watch
- Smart Camera
- PoS Machine
At this time, iCertifi has not been notified when TEC will reinstate the MTCTE requirements for these products.
