On July 23, 2020, the Directorate General of Resources and Equipment of Post and Information Technology (SDPPI) issued Decision N° 124 Year 2020. This replaces Decision 36 2020, concerning the recognition of foreign test labs.
According to this Decision, the SDPPI allows the recognition of test reports from foreign testing laboratories for HKT devices; mobile phones, handheld computers, and tablet computers. This recognition is temporary and valid for six months. The Decision reduces the number of foreign test labs approved for HKT devices to 16 and reduces the number of accredited labs for non-HKT devices to 72 labs.
