As mentioned in our post from June, Indonesia SDPPI regulation changes are now in effect based off Regulation Nº 7, 2018. Below are the key changes that affect Type Approval certification.
- Certificate holder must be a local company-office-importer based in Indonesia under Clause Nº59
- Test reports need to be from an SDPPI- accredited test lab (can be an in-country or foreign SDPPI – accredited lab)
- All certificate holders must register with a system called OSS and will need to have an NIB number in order to do this.
- A copy of a DoC with correct technical standards declared and also the identity of the identity of the signatory must be valid.
