In response to Indonesia’s authority in charge for approving RF/Telecom/EMC equipment (SDPPI), labs have made changes to the certification process to minimize the spread of COVID-19 infection.
Changes include:
- The local testing process for applications of devices that are in the new registration stage/waiting for the testing schedule/payment process will be delayed until an undetermined time and applications of devices that have entered the regular testing process will be processed with a delayed lead time. (closed face-to-face activities)
- The local testing process for applications of devices that are currently in the stage of registration/sending test samples/payment process will be delayed until April 1st, 2020 and applications for devices that have already entered regular testing and the LHU/test report process, will still be processed as normally. (closed face-to-face activities)
- Submission of new applications through local testing or document evaluation can still be accepted through the SDPPI portal but SDPPI HQ have closed face-to-face activities. Temporary digital certificates will be sent as replacement for the original certificate which have the same function as the original version.
