As a follow up to our July Blog, The Ministry of Energy in Israel has adopted the European Regulation and Standards for energy efficiency (EE).
For the list of products below, it will be required to get import approval from the Ministry of Energy for EE based on EU DoC and EE reports or based on SII local testing. The Agreement took effect on September 1, 2022.
The list of products which require compliance with EE:

- Air conditioner
- Refrigerators
- Washing machines
- Tumble dryers
- Dishwashers
- Baking ovens
- Lighting
- Set-top boxes
- Televisions
- Electric motors
The list of product which require compliance with EE for standby consumption:
- Air conditioner
- Refrigerators

- Dishwashers

- Microwave ovens
