On January 17, 2024, Japan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) initiated a public consultation to gather input from the public regarding the technical conditions for the proposed 4.9GHz band (4.9 – 5.0GHz) intended for 5GNR.
The public consultation is open to comments until February 16, 2024.
