On April 13, 2022, the Jordan Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC), updated the Regulations for WLAN devices. The updates are in response to a Public Consultation held to determine the available 6 GHz frequency bands for the use of Wi-Fi technology.
The update adds the following:
- 5250-5350 MHz with 23 dBm max EIRP for indoor and outdoor use.
- 5470-5725 MHz with 30 dBm max EIRP for indoor use only
- 5925-6425 MHz with 25 dBm max EIRP for indoor and outdoor use
- 57-71 GHz with 40 dBm max EIRP provided that TX power shall not exceed 27 dBm
