The Telecommunications Regulation Commission (TRC) of Jordan has issued updated type approval procedures that went into effect on February 1, 2020.
Highlights include:
- Validity of the certificate is now 3 years
- Labels are required with the following information
- Name and address of the Manufacturer
- Product information such as Brand/Model/Type and Commercial Name
- The IMEI number for devices that are provided with Cellular Modules
- E-labeling may be used if it is not possible to affix to the product
