Mexico, upcoming changes for safety certifications are expected and will take effect after January 2019. NOM-016 and NOM-019 will be eliminated and will be merged under NOM-001. The effects of the change will most likely mean more technical requirements for test reports as well as test methods to comply with NOM-001 standards.
