As mentioned in our July blog, manufacturers of products subject to the CMIM mark will be required to affix the mark to the products before arriving to customs for clearance. The Ministry had set the deadline for implementation to be August 1, 2019 and has now announced a grace period until December 31, 2019. As of January 1, 2020, products will be required to be marked with the conformity mark.
