Namibia CRAN has issued a list of devices exempt from Type Approval for a category of equipment using specified technologies and falling under certain specifications. The type of equipment subject to the exemption includes smart watches, speakers with BT only, gate/garage remote control equipment, alarm and movement detectors, vehicle components and systems embedded in the vehicle, audio devices and broadcast receivers and transmitters.
