As an update to our previous discussions on the evolving telecommunication landscape in Pakistan, we have important news for manufacturers and tech companies. The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has recently issued an official circular that marks a significant advancement in wireless technology deployment across the country— the official allowance of WiFi 6.

For devices previously certified without the support for the 6GHz band, there is now an opportunity to broaden their capabilities. The PTA is accepting applications for certificate revisions to include WiFi 6E (5925 MHz – 6425 MHz) support.
