As a follow up to our previous announcement, The Communications and Information Technology Commission of Saudi Arabia (CITC), has launched the use of WiFi 6E Technology. CITC has officially issued its WLAN Regulations which can be viewed here.
In addition, the Authority has also updated the Specification for Data Communication Equipment operating in License-Exempt Frequency Bands. The Regulations and Specifications updates officially enable the introduction and use of WiFi 6E technology in Saudi Arabia over the entire 5925 – 7125 MHz frequency band.
