The National Certification Body of Serbia (RATEL) has published the Plan of allocation of radio frequency bands in the Official Gazette of RS, No. 9/24 dated February 5, 2024, which came into effect on February 13, 2024. Concurrently, the prior Regulation on the same subject, outlined in the Official Gazette of RS, No. 89/20, ceased to be applicable.
The Plan for allocating radio frequency bands delineates the distribution of RF bands for specific radio communication services in accordance with international radio communication regulations, pertinent international agreements, arrangements, legal documents, and recommendations, as well as relevant EU directives. With the adoption of the new Plan, the legal conditions are met to make changes and amendments to current regulations in the field of radio communications.
