The Department of Information Communications Technology (ICT) in Seychelles has published the “Procedure for Type Approval of Radio Communication Equipment” on May 4, 2021.
Type Approval for radio communication equipment is mandatory for importation into Seychelles. The publication confirms that FCC and ETSI reports will be evaluated so samples are not required. ICT will allow family and modular approval and the validity of the certificate will be permanent, providing there are no modifications to the device.
