Please be reminded that the IMDA TS CD-SEC, titled “Security Requirements to Guard against Network Storms for Cellular devices,” took effect on January 2, 2023. All newly applicable cellular devices must adhere to the IMDA TS CD-SEC during the registration of new equipment.
For cellular devices that were previously registered with IMDA prior to the implementation date, any necessary modifications to the application must be submitted before July 1, 2023.
Starting from July 1, 2023, all applicable cellular devices intended for local use in Singapore must comply with the new security requirements. Dealers and suppliers are required to discontinue the sale of any applicable cellular devices that do not meet the new requirements.
