CE Certification in Singapore – Requirements for Updating New Safety Mark

Enterprise Singapore (previously SPRING Singapore and International Enterprise (IE) Singapore) has reviewed feedback and determined requirements for updating new Safety Mark.  Suppliers will have until 2 April 2022 to implement logo changes for products carrying the old logo, products displaying the old logo can continue to be sold during this transition period.

According to the circular 2018-03, for new products registered after April 1, 2019 there will be a grace period of one year for Registered Suppliers to get used to the changes in using the updated Safety Mark. For existing  products, and registrations between now and April 1, 2019, suppliers have a grace period until April 1, 2022 to comply with the new usage of the Updated Safety Mark.  Products displaying the old logo can continue to be sold during the transition period.

In summary, controlled products currently in stores can continue to be sold with the old Safety Mark until April 2022. After April 2022 any controlled products bearing the old Safety Mark will need to be recalled.
