The United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has advised testing labs and telecommunications conformity bodies to ensure Part 15 Equipment applications are complete and contain the proper antenna information.
All part 15 applications will need to show the maximum gain of the antenna for the band of operation and how the antenna gain was derived, either from a manufacturer data sheet or a measurement report.
Any applications that was granted after August 25, 2022 that does not contain the proper antenna information will be dismissed.
