The Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC) has published a Draft Circular to replace Circular 02/2022/TT-BTTTT. Type approval certificates must be updated to the new standard and receive the new test reports for the new safety or EMC standards.
Highlighted features of the new circular include:
- QCVN 130:2022/BTTTT – RF/EMC Standard for wireless audio products
- QCVN 131:2022/BTTTT – RF Standard for EUTRA NB-IoT
- QCVN 132:2022/BTTTT – Safety Standard for tablets, desktop, laptop, DECT phone, set-top-box, and television
- QCVN 18:2022/BTTTT – RF EMC Standard for Radar 76-77 GHz and 5G
- QCVN 65:2013/BTTTT is revoked and replaced by QCVN 65:2021/BTTTT
- Short-range devices, including NFC 13.56 MHz have been moved to Annex 2 (only require SDoC)
The Draft Circular is planned to come into effect on July 1, 2023.
