The Ministry of Telecom and Information Technology (MTIT) in Yemen has reinstated their type approval service, and will start accepting new applications. MTIT had previously suspended accepting new applications until new regulations were published. The authority also confirmed to reprint certificates with a new issue date, which were requested in December 2018.
Certification for RF devices in Yemen in mandatory, has a validity of one year, and no samples are required. We are currently waiting for MTIT to provide the regulation updates.
